One-click background noise to mask distractions and focus. White, gray, brown noise + rain. 100% local, no accounts, no tracking.

One click. Predictable sound. Distractions masked. Focus restored.
TuneOut2FocusIn is a background-noise player that lives in your Chrome side panel. Pick a sound, press start, and a steady, loopable audio "blanket" masks the unpredictable environmental noise that keeps pulling your attention away. No setup, no menus to fight, no ads.
Built for people with ADHD by someone with ADHD — it does one thing well and gets out of the way.
The four sounds are bundled right inside the extension, so playback is instant and keeps working with no connection. Nothing is streamed, nothing is downloaded at runtime — the audio is already on your device.
Your last sound and volume are saved automatically, and you can pick a default sound and volume in Settings so the panel opens exactly how you like it.
Your preferences live only in this browser (chrome.storage.local). TuneOut2FocusIn has no server and sends nothing anywhere — there are no analytics, no tracking, and no accounts. See exactly what happens in the data-flow diagram above: every step runs on your device.
Every sound and the core player are free, forever — no subscriptions, no metering, no monthly fee. A one-time unlock adds Data Backup (Trust Vault): export and import your settings as a local file so you can keep or move your setup. It's totally optional — the player is identical either way. If it helped you focus, you can also leave a tip ("Fuel the Build").
