Copyright & Intellectual Property

864zeros LLC · Effective 17 July 2026 · Applies to all 864zeros browser extensions, open-source components, and this website.

The short version: We own our software, designs, and words. You own the content you create with our tools — it stays on your device. The feature "bricks" we publish as open source are free to use under their stated licenses. If you think something here infringes your copyright, tell us and we'll act.

1. What 864zeros owns

Except for third-party and open-source components noted below, all software, source code, designs, layouts, text, graphics, icons, and other materials in 864zeros extensions and on this website are © 2026 864zeros LLC and are protected by copyright. All rights reserved unless a specific license says otherwise.

2. What you own — your content

The content you create or capture using our products (your tabs, links, notes, exports, and settings) is yours. It is stored locally on your device; we claim no ownership of it and keep no copy. See our Privacy Policy.

3. Open-source feature bricks

864zeros publishes some reusable "feature bricks" as open source in public repositories. Each such brick is licensed under the terms stated in its own repository (see that repo's LICENSE file), and those terms govern your use of it. A published brick is a capable standalone component; our factory-integrated products build on top of it. We are transparent about that split. Absent a license file granting broader rights, the rest of our software is proprietary and not licensed for redistribution or resale (see Terms §2).

4. Third-party components

Our products may include third-party open-source libraries, each under its own license, retained in the product or its repository. Those licenses remain in effect for those components. Third-party names and marks referenced by our tools belong to their respective owners (see Trademark).

5. Permitted use

You may install and use our products per the Terms of Use. You may quote or screenshot our public materials for review, commentary, or news. You may not copy, resell, rebrand, or create derivative products from our proprietary software or designs without written permission.

6. Copyright complaints (takedown)

We respect others' copyrights. If you believe material we publish infringes a copyright you own or control, email support@864zeros.com with subject line "Copyright Notice" and include:

We will review and, where appropriate, remove or disable the material and notify the parties involved.
